Network Support Engineer

The Network Support Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the availability and upkeep of the 0G network both macro and micro base stations in all territories. We are looking for an individual with a telecommunications engineering background who is not afraid of taking the extra step to make things happen to contribute to our success story.

- Provide Level 1 network support in order to ensure a seamless customer experience on the network.
- Raise Level 2 issues to the National Network Operations & Acquisition Manager when required.
- Ensure customer-impacting issues are rectified within MTTR targets.
- Commission all types of gateways for CAAS or network deployment when densification is required, and ensure contractor time on site is kept to a minimum.
- Ensuring site access details and maintenance contacts are kept up to date.
- Ensuring all backend metadata are kept up to date in order to ensure data flow.
- Report monthly on key metrics, including availability, and major issues with regard to sites.
- Complete as-built documentation to a high standard within expected due dates.
- Assist in drafting site licenses for license renewals.
- Ensure network equipment upgrades follow specific change control procedures to ensure minimum downtime.
- Execute network upgrades to the Base Stations and Routers and any other infrastructure.
- Monitor the network operations mailbox, responding to requests from 3rd parties and site issues within a reasonable time.
- Ensure external outage requests are recorded and approved and that notifications are sent to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist in research, analysis, and evaluation of new network equipment or tools that would introduce efficiencies, improve quality, reduce cost, and improve the customer experience of our network.
- Travel domestically and internationally when required.
- Ad-hoc Activities as directed by manager.
- Hold at least a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- A Service Desk experience is a must.
- Experience in network management systems and network management protocols.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- A proactive/can-do attitude is essential to the success of this role (start-up mindset).
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Experience in M2M communications, 4G industrial M2M routers, SIM, and device management platforms.
- Experience in network management systems and network management protocols.
- Experience with delivering to required SLAs.
- Experience with managing LPWANs.
- Experience with wireless telecommunication networks.

Solution Delivery Manager

The Solution Delivery Manager will work collaboratively with the Sales Teams in Australia and the various Channel Partners and customers to recommend and provide the right solutions that will enable scale in a reliable and fast manner and maximise success in the pre-sales and post-sales/delivery phase to enable scale. The role will ensure collaboration with the Thinxtra Product team to ensure that the requirements of the solutions are met, quality standards are maintained and so is profitability. The role will onboard, train and support channel partners and customers throughout the delivery and scale.

- The position will be customer facing to actively support the sales team and be customer focused in understanding the business requirements and detailing the solution requirements, cost and profit analysis that will ensure profitability and fulfil the customer needs. Both Internal and External projects.
- Managing pre-sales and customer delivery and actively obtaining solution quality and outcomes that will enable customer success and scale.
- Stakeholder management throughout the pre-sales and delivery periods to ensure repeatability.
- Documentation of requirements user guides and presentations, cost analysis to support sales and customers and uniformity of understanding.
- Conducting onboarding, business requirement capturing and holding technical training sessions with channel partners and customers.
- Contributing to the maintenance of the up-to-date documentation on all externally facing Thinxtra’s solution offerings, proposals and sales templates.
- Provide pre-sales and value articulation for professional services such as field tests for PoC / Pilot and scale-up scenarios with partners and customers to ensure successful outcomes and ensure scale with minimal manual effort.
- Ensuring the Customer Support offshore Team is prioritising and delivering excellent service to customers
- Taking ownership of the troubleshooting of Thinxtra-delivered solutions and follow-ups to suppliers (via Product Team) to maintain excellence and reliability.
- General AU business BAU tasks and others such as monthly CEO reports.
- Other ad hoc duties as requested by the manager.
- Support Sales in building commercial models and proposals ensuring Thinxtra’s profitability and high margins, including templates and repeatable processes.
- Travel domestically and internationally when required.
- Tertiary education (Bachelor in Technical or Business) and significant work experience related to pre-sales, and solution delivery of hardware, connectivity and software components or projects.
- At least 3 years of experience with a customer-facing role, including support.
- Ability to build and review agreements and proposals that meet customer needs and demonstrate business value to customers.
- Ownership of solutions and delivery objectives
- Can do attitude with a high attention to detail and tolerance for complexity and uncertainty.
- Ability to manage a small team for customer technical support.
- Ability to deliver solutions and manage project in a structured and organised manner and with a track record.
- High level of emotional intelligence and empathy to read business situations, understand pain points and adequately communicate.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in hardware, network and wireless solutions.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant exists to facilitate business efficiency by providing direct support to the CEO.
Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the CEO and broader executive team and manage general office duties.
- Provide full administrative and operational support to the CEO and, occasionally, the Board of Directors and broader executive team.
- Assist with the collation of Leadership Team meetings and All Hands Call presentations.
- Work closely with the CFO and our external HR provider to ensure compliance with HR objectives. Follow up with action items for weekly HR check-in meetings.
- Schedule meetings, conduct expense reporting and reconciliation, diary management, travel bookings, and other administrative tasks.
- Assist HR Partner with the onboarding of new starters.
- Organise events such as, Company Kick-Offs, Leadership team offsites, Board Meetings, AGMs, Christmas parties, EOFY events, and other social events as required (eg, Melbourne Cup Day, etc.). This includes arranging catering for Tuesday office lunches.
- Liaise with contractor support (e.g., legal, HR) on various projects and tasks.
- Liaise with the building manager to ensure that all aspects of the office are functioning properly.
- 5+ years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role (or similar) working directly with C-suite Executives.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects.
- Exercises a high degree of confidentiality.
- Flexible team player who enjoys working dynamically across multiple areas.
- Proficiency in using Google Workspace is a bonus, but not essential. The ability to utilise other productivity tools and have the aptitude for learning new software and systems.
