Network Engineering Intern
- Part-Time or Full-Time (Depending on vocational requirements)
- Sydney
The Network Engineer Intern will support the Solution Delivery Team to help Thinxtra IoT Cellular solutions in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong to continuously meet the expected quality required by the market to maximize their success.
This internship will see you developing your skills in networking, designing end-to-end IoT solutions as well as quality engineering.
Thinxtra is the first IoT Telco and solution provider that offers sigfox and cellular connectivity to its customers and also End 2 End Sigfox and Cellular IoT solutions (hardware and software).

- Troubleshooting and supporting the cellular routers or gateways for custom projects
- Interacting with suppliers to help configure the devices and manage RMAs
- Reviewing, existing or supporting the preparation of product documentation such as data sheets, installation guides and user guides among others
- Assisting with testing solutions in the real use case (or very similar) in order to help gauge performance and reduce risk of issues arising in the project
- Benchmarking of cellular IoT solutions for a competitive offering
- Conducting field tests and testing solutions in real-life scenarios to validate performance, gain feedback and implement improvements
- Currently studying a Bachelor or Master Degree in Network Engineering or similar
- Knowledgeable about network architectures, VPNs, IP stacks, communication protocols
- Experience troubleshooting or configuring routers (e.g. cisco, peplink, robustel, teltonika, Oring)
- Knowledge and experience in Cellular Networks and Solutions : 3G-4G (Incl. Cat-M1) would be appreciated
- A high attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and with a team
- Experience on Linux
- Experience in Network Troubleshooting (A Cisco CCNA R&S certification will be a good asset)
- Basic Python knowledge would be a good asset

Digital Marketing Manager
- 6 months fixed term contract (Full-time) with the option to move to a permanent contract thereafter

You would be responsible for the development and execution of campaigns across all digital channels. You would create high-quality content & amplify it in engaging ways.
Working within a growing business, in the fast maturing and exciting IoT B2B space demands courage, eagerness to learn, an agile approach, creative mind, and discipline. To do things “for the first time” and constantly look for innovative ways to push boundaries.
You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to lead integrated campaigns from concept to execution. As a key member of the marketing team you’ll work hand in hand with the sales and supporting technical teams, and externally with our business partners and/or agencies to launch and run campaigns on time and on budget.
- Planning, execution and evaluation of digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media advertising (eg. LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Ads and Twitter)
- Managing and measuring campaigns in the CRM (ZOHO)
- Developing & maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
- Measuring, reporting & improvement of performance across all platforms & monitoring of campaign KPIs
- Creating compelling ‘on-message’ content across different media types
- Analyzing and creating concepts, collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
- Utilizing strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
- Optimising online user experience and conversion
- Stay up to date with best practices and trends.
- Providing thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
- Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend and performance based on the insights
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field preferable
- Proven working experience in digital marketing, preferably in the technology space
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and convert
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of WordPress and related website analytics tools (e.g. Google
- Analytics, preferably ZOHO CRM, Analytics & Campaign)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adword campaigns
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Strong affinity & understanding of the sales process
