Thinxtra: Finalist of the EY 2017 ‘Accelerating Entrepreneur’ Program

Thinxtra has been recognised by Ernst & Young as a high-growth company and future leader in Asia-Pacific, and as such, Thinxtra’s CEO, Loic Barancourt, was invited to attend the EY’s Accelerating Entrepreneurs program – a program designed to support start-ups and scale-ups to reach their full potential through a series of workshops and networking events.

As described by EY,
EY has launched its Accelerating Entrepreneurs program in Asia-Pacific, which gives high-potential, fast-growth technology start-ups from across the region access to support to help scale their businesses. The group of selected entrepreneurs receives a comprehensive program of one-to-one guidance, networking and insight-sharing including:

  • A dedicated EY service executive to focus on the business issue most critical to their company’s growth acceleration, including participation in an EY Growth NavigatorTMsession to help assess their capabilities to deliver growth plans
  • Ongoing mentoring and support from local EY teams involved in entrepreneurial growth

It also included an all-expenses-paid trip to the EY Strategic Growth Forum® event in Rome last week, which provided:

  • the opportunity to meet and network with industry-relevant attendees from across Asia-Pacific and the world
  • mentoring and coaching from business leaders and EY professionals in attendance at the 2017 Strategic Growth Forum event.

For this year, Thinxtra was among 24 high-growth startups finalists in Asia-Pacific which were selected for their innovative technology-based products or services and ambition to scale and accelerate growth internationally.

As Loic commented “The Accelerating Entrepreneurs program will help Thixntra scale our business across borders and accelerate our company’s growth. EY will work with us on the most critical business issues to enable us to reach our full potential as a leading IoT provider in Asia-Pacific.

About the Strategic Growth Forum in Rome, he added ” Great event and great people. The sessions provided profound business insights about sales, future growth, legal and cyber-security in particular, and the venue was … fantastic! Plenty of good ideas to implement.”

Thank you EY for organising such a great event and for selecting us as a finalist.
